"The white flag"
while i was with my sisters, i heard the bombs' sound
i asked my mother, she told me it is a killer and betrayer army
i went up, looked at the sky and saw papers thrown on us
i asked my mother about papers, she told me they say surrender
and you will be our dearest.....
and i asked grandmother: how do we surrender
she told me: we raise a white flag over our house and better not to talk
slowly slowly i took my grandmother's white headscarf and i went to our house's roof
and tied it with a strip and i went down running holding my toy
full of fear; i said better to sleep hidden behind my pillow
and i saw in my dream , roses, safety and peace
and i woke up on the bombs' sound and my grandmother scream
and i ran called my village's people.....
and i saw everybody is raising a white flag
