Hanging Gardens of Paddington
The world's largest hanging basket of flowers
Towering 7 meters above the ground, flower basket 6 x 3 meters, known as "The Hanging Gardens Paddington", contains more than 100 different varieties of plants and flowers, including orchids, roses, ivy, daisies, gerbera, ferns, conifers and moss .
Hanging basket weighs more than a quarter of a ton! At its creation the team of designers, engineers and gardeners took more than three weeks and about eight hours on the process of suspending the building of Hotel Indigo in London's Paddington. Actually, all this beauty was dedicated to the opening of a new hotel. Great advertiseme
Hotel Indigo plans to change the plant depending on the season. Karin Nielsen, a hotel representative, commented on the creation of a hanging basket:
Our hotel focuses on the unique design, bold colors and seasonal changes, so that the biggest hanging basket plant was the best way to express yourself to the world! We found inspiration from the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, one of the seven wonders of the world, and we hope that our hanging garden will become a miracle of London!
